Can it be any clearer that the censoring of free speech by the Fletcher administration is anything other than an issue of content rather than the use of employee time?
From the
Herald Leader:
“Gov. Ernie Fletcher's administration kicked off an Internet-fueled public relations firestorm this week when officials blocked employees from viewing certain Web sites -- including Bluegrassreport.org, published by former Democratic operative Mark Nickolas.
But the state reinstated access to a blog kept by the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Research in Bowling Green -- a free market advocacy group.”
While I don’t always agree with the positions professed on either of the blogs linked about I am outraged by Chairman Fletcher’s attempt to institute the suppression of free speech in the People’s Republic of Kentucky.
