Conway v. Lee

Another thought about the Attorney General’s race. My best guess is that Jack Conway will face Stan Lee in November.

Now I do have some experience with the kind of campaign Stan Lee will run. I still have the political scars to show for it, but pain is an excellent teacher.

So here are a few words for Jack Conway.

Work you butt off. Now!

I don’t like Stan Lee’s politics, but I don’t think he is a true bigot. He is a political opportunist. He’ll say and do what he needs to do curry favor with the right wing agenda of many Republicans and Democrats in this state.

But there are a couple of things from a purely political stand point you have to admire in Lee.

Stan Lee can raise money and Stan Lee will run as hard as he can for the AG’s office. If Jack Conway thinks he can rely on Kennedy good looks and Dad’s money to win this race he’ll be out of luck in November.

So Jack, my boy, you had better come out of the gate hard and don’t look back or Stan Lee will be the next Attorney General.
