Don't They Eat Their Young?

I want to first apologize for taking, perhaps too much, pleasure in watching Republicans bashing Republicans, but this was the best laugh I’ve had in a long time.

From an email from indicted Governor Ernie Fletcher:

But we don’t hear Mrs. Northup talking about those issues that are important to Republicans. Instead, she is taking the arguments presented by the most liberal columnist in Kentucky and presenting them as reasons to vote for her……

Republican primary voters deserve more. Tell Anne Northup that giving lip service to the liberal Democrats' attacks on Governor Fletcher should end. She should either tell us how she would better lead our state, or get out of the way. Governor Fletcher is providing true conservative leadership that we call all be proud of.

Oh my goodness, the dreaded curse of being a, shudder, liberal has been laid on Anne Northup by Ernie Fletcher.

I guess when you run a corrupt administration like Fletcher and you are unable to address the real problems of the Commonwealth, then name calling is always a good way to go.

So Annie here is a tip of the hat from one damn good liberal to another. But wait a minute; my brother in law in Washington State says I’m really a moderate Republican. So maybe Northup is a moderate Republican, then that would make Fletcher a right wing-nut Republican.

Ok, now I’m confused. But it’s still fun watching the Republicans turn on each other.
