Gov. Steve Beshear is on a second trade mission to India, hoping to ink a deal that could result in more jobs for Kentucky.
The governor and Economic Development Secretary Larry Hays left Saturday and are planning to return by mid-week. Beshear spokeswoman Jill Midkiff said
Monday the governor is expecting to announce "an exciting economic development" later this week, but declined to provide additional details.
There is going to be "an exciting economic development"?
Getting a 9mm Glock stuck in my ribs at the ATM can be an exciting economic development, not one I want, but exciting.
In a country where the daily minimum wage is about $2.58.
A country where according to the statistics given by Indian government there are 20 million child laborers, while other agencies claim that it is 50 million.
I have to wonder what kind of jobs the Governor is going to bring back to Kentucky.

I have to think he is actually sending jobs to India. The last time he inked a deal with a company to send IT jobs there.
