Let’s talk about some of the predators loose in Kentucky.
I’ve talked before that I’m not a real fan of legalizing criminal activity, the numbers game now called the lottery.
I can also get outraged by corporate drug dealers, like big tobacco companies selling cigarettes and pharmaceutical companies maximizing their sales of pseudoephedrine.
But let’s talk about another legalized criminal enterprise loan sharks or as they commonly known in Kentucky payday loan companies.
Tom Loftus at the Courier Journal has documented the loan sharks attempts to buy the favor of both Steve Beshear and David Williams. Nothing says love to a politician like big donations.
The right thing to do here for both candidates to send the money back and publicly state they will reign in the loan sharks in Kentucky.
