Since it appears the $3.1 million loan from the University of Kentucky to the Athletics Association to refurbish the score board at Commonwealth Stadium is going to be a done deal, at least as far as the UK Trustees and the Council on Postsecondary Education are concerned there, is only one group that can stop this action, the Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee of the General Assembly.
The members of the committee are:

• Sen. Tom Buford
• Sen. Jared Carpenter
• Sen. Julian M. Carroll
• Rep. Robert R. Damron
• Rep. Steven Rudy
• Rep. Jim Wayne
So let’s see if our elected representatives can exercise a little fiscal responsibility.
