Richard Ojeda

I get a lot of email from all across the political spectrum wanting me to donate.  I seldom read them but this guy I like.  I even gave him money when he ran for the House of Representatives.  He has tapped in to the same truth that Sherrod Brown has, if democrats are going to fragment Trump’s base it will be on blue collar economics.

Here’s the email:

Hey Ralph --

This is unacceptable.

Taxpayers bailed out GM. And this year, GM got another $150 million dollar tax giveaway courtesy of Donald Trump. And now, just before the holidays, they have stabbed their workers in the back by announcing massive layoffs.

Support our fight for the working class citizen: Donate Now

Make no mistake, this will devastate thousands of families just before Christmastime. And it will also deal a heavy blow to the unions who are the only ones fighting to make life decent for American workers. These corporate executives and their politician friends don’t care about the working class citizen. All they care about is lining their own pockets. They would gut their workers just to earn an extra penny every time.

I was absolutely outraged when I heard the news so I did the only thing I could think to do. I flew to Detroit. I went to the headquarters of GM to try to get some answers or at least make them explain themselves. Well, rather than answer our questions they had security escort me from the building. Here’s the message that GM executives didn’t want to hear.

But I went to Detroit for another reason too and it’s the very same reason I am running for the Presidency of the United States. Because this is a movement about the working class citizen. And my campaign will use this platform to elevate the issues facing working class citizens every single time I possibly can.

After I got kicked out at GM, I went over to an American Legion Hall and met with some of the people who work in the auto industry. They told me about what it feels like to be handed a pink slip while the white-collar workers get a cushy landing. And what it’s like to work tirelessly to build a company that will toss you out like yesterday’s garbage in order to save a buck.

This must end now. Working class citizens must stand together shoulder to shoulder. We must rebuild our unions so we can rebuild the middle class. And if we must, we’ve got to be willing to shut it down in order to take back power for the working class citizen. When we refuse to budge, they will see that this nation will grind to a screeching halt without the working man and the working woman. Who’s ready to fight?

Airborne,
Richard

Kentucky's Candidates for Governor

There are three candidates, so far, for Governor of Kentucky in the next cycle, Matt Bevin , Andy Beshear and Rocky Adkins . Kentucky currently has a tax and revenue system that is cutting edge state of the art if you were living in 1948.   None of the current candidates have a clue how to address the issue.   Bevin, is attempting to make Sam Brownback look good as a Governor.   Beshear is recycling his Dad’s idea of legalizing gambling as a panacea for the problem.   Adkins, well Adkins has been in the state legislature for 31 years, one would think if he had a clue what to do he would have already tried to do it.   The problem with Kentucky’s finances has been, and still is, a group effort, Governors and Legislatures for several decades have exhibited a monumental level of incompetence.   This is not a Democrat or Republican problem.   This is a professional politician problem. They will say or do anything to get elected. A candidate that comes up with a plan to term li
